Comments about Generic A13-MID 1.2GHz 512MB 4GB 7'' Capacitive Touchscreen Tablet Android 4.0 w/Camera & microSDHC Slot (White/Black):
My son is enjoying playing his favorite google play games like temple run 2 in great video quality. I like it that we can use it as an ereader via the nook and kindle apps as well. There have been no technological problems yet. Had to turn wifi off and then on one time to reestablish connection. I warned my son not to delete android files that could ruin the operating system.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great product for the price. Bought this for my son for his birthday. The power button broke on first week but i shipped it back & geeks did a RMA same day as it came in.This tablet is faster than i expected. Flash works great. Great for kids and adults who cant afford the nicer machines.
For an Inexpensive Tablet, Not Bad

I obtained this tablet to replace a Resistive Screen tablet (Pandigital). The screen works well, but often requires multiple touches. I use the tablet primarily with a spreedsheet, which the resistive screen tablet was impossible to use with. I have tried an ebook, which the tablet does very well, but may require more than one touch to turn the page. For an inexpensive tablet, a great deal. Now, for the negative. The screen is very sensitive to fingers that get too close to the edge. A finger can easily send the tablet back to the home screen. You do not have to touch the screen, just get too close. Probably for the same reason, the screen can be unstable. Also, the screen is not as responsive to touch as the Samsung I have. Nor does it distinquich spacially as well. There is no manual (it claims to have one loaded, but I can not find it), so you have to figure out what you are doing on your own. I asked Geeks.com about the manual, but they never responded. There are very few installed apps, but you can get more from Google Play. Battery life is short. All in all, it is a good tablet for the price (the Samsung cost 3 times as much). I am not sure I would suggest this tablet for children as you have to master keeping your hands away from the screen.

Great 7 in. Tablet
By Indy J
I bought this tablet to use with the e-book reader VitalSource BookShelf. The screen is very sharp and easy to read, so this will be great. The browser that is installed out-of-the-box leaves a lot to be desired, but downloading Google Chrome took care of that problem. Every app I've installed has run perfectly.
