This is a good product for its prices, still the support of Pandigital is very bad. I had a problem with the WiFi second day after I used this tablet and I needed to upgrade the firmware. Unfortunately I couldn't find it on Pandigital website and they simply didn't respond to my emails. I have found the installation on a different website, downloaded it and since then it was working great.
Don't expect to use google store for apps, still you can use amazon and cnet applications. I have managed to download the applications and games I needed easily.
The sound quality is not that good and the machine sometimes freezes because of low RAMs I guess, but other than that you can't expect more for such price. You will be able to play games, movies, music, browse internet, chat and more...

This would've been perfect but mine went bad and when I called Pandigital Support, they gave me a case number, then a process to restore defaults (which is common knowledge in google) and after deeming the Tablet bad (touch screen unresponsive), they finally gave me a case to RMA, then 3 weeks later I called while I didn't hear anything about them, and two different persons took my call. One to say I am sorry we had our email system down (for 4 weeks???) and then sent me an email basically saying that Pandigital is OOB and they are sorry. Fortunately Geeks are going to honor my reimbursement but beware, Pandigital is Out of Business.

This is my first tablet (I build computers, usually) and I am pretty happy so far. I've had it for about 2 weeks and everything is working well so far. I got a microsd card and put the other app store on it (the large river [system and basin too] in South America) and was able to get everything I needed. GetJar isn't too terrible, but not very good either. Great for watching videos or movies with headphones (speaker is a bit tinny) and reading ebooks as well as pdf docs when needed.

I'm not sure what version of Android this is running, but it's not the same version 2.3 that my LG phone runs. It's hard to evaluate the uses, because it's hard to get the ones I am used to. Without being able to go to the Play Store, a lot of the games I wanted to try on the bigger screens are not accessible. I've found some of them in other places, but I would have to pay for them again.

It does a good job when I went to U-tube and watched a lot of old Warner Bros. cartoons. The game I have been able to get works well. Reading books is still a question, because I have to find a different book reader I like. I haven't done a lot more with it yet. It's more an issue of software availability than anything else. Maybe if you are an Android guru you can get around my problems, but I'm not.

I think they cut cost in the right places overall.
The housing feels cheaper than some and the speaker is a bit weak for my preference, but the overall value I think is excellent. The CPU has enough power, (1 Ghz+) and it has enough RAM (512M) and storage. The screen is very nice putting it up in the next tier when matched with the CPU. I've owned one about a month and our store has sold 5. No hardware problems yet.

I wish it had a better speaker or speakers on the front or top sides, but overall I think it's an excellent tablet for the money. I'd call it a mid-tier tablet at an entry level price. I can overcome the speakers with the headphone jack or bluetooth but would prefer not to have to.

This unit does not have android market installed but you don't have to have a google account to use it either. Pandigital uses a packager called GetJar for installing programs directly from their website. Software availability seems good so far.

I love this tablet. I recieved it in brand new condition. Everything functions great and I have been able to do everything I have wanted to do with a tablet.
Touch screen is very intuitive and the 8" size makes a huge difference over a 7" tablet.
The only issue I have had is the touch screen has become unresponsive a few times solved by a reboot, just like any computer. You will not find a better tablet for the price. I love it!

I bought this tablet for my youngetst daughter who kept taking my iPad. I have to make her put it down. She loves it. She surfs the net. Plays games, makes video's and takes photo's. It's a great tablet for the price.

Tried to use for e-reader, playing games, and browsing web. The wireless kept losing signal even when right next to router. RMA got a new one same problem + touch screen did not work on left side. RMA again got another that was USED(had a bunch of junk on it and rooted) I paid for a new one retruned will not buy one of these again.
