Comments about AZiO GM533U Levetron USB Laser 5000dpi Gaming Mouse:
Your Mileage May Vary, but this is about the most comfortable mouse I've ever owned, and some of this is due to seemingly small details. For one, it has soft rubber grips on the sides which actually do add to the comfort level of the mouse. I also like the wing-like "shelf" on the right side-- it gives your middle finger a rest-point where it won't accidentally hit the right mouse button. The scroll wheel is metal with a rubber rim, and adds a bit of a flywheel action. The regular left and right mouse buttons have a nice solid clicky feel, but they are rather loud. [Not a problem for me, as I use an IBM Model M keyboard, which is louder than the mouse buttons]Although this is a gaming mouse, some gamers might not like certain aspects of this mouse. In particular, the 3 programmable buttons are located on the left-hand wing "shelf" of the mouse, where they can be difficult to hit quickly. (I actually prefer this to buttons on the side grip, where I tend to hit them accidentally) Also, the 3 programmable buttons require a rather heavy touch. Incidentally, all of the buttons except for the DPI selector (but including the regular L/R mouse buttons and scroll wheel button) are re-assignable and programmable when used with the provided software. I might also point out the the included software is nicely unobtrusive and doesn't seem to chew up excessive resources. Normally, I don't bother installing those sorts of things, but I figured it'd be worth it to set up the programmable buttons. Speaking of being unobtrusive, I also like the fact that this mouse isn't as obnoxious looking as many gaming mice. Also, it has adjustable weights in the bottom, which allows you to have this mouse feel about as heavy or as light as you want.
