First,

Let me say as soon as I plugged it in, I liked it better than my Sidewinder X4. The illumination is bright yet NOT glaring. Keyboard has a great feel to it. It has no macro features, I knew that. Volume control works great, and automatically under Windows 7.

When I first plugged in the board I was amazed! But, no purple? I called tech support, and they instantly suggested they would send me a replacement, AND a return shipping label, prepaid. That is incredible service. However, I plugged the board into a laptop, and purple was available. (Not a driver issue!). I believe the extension USB cable I was using on my desktop keyboard was the flaw. I called them right back and cancelled the RMA. Turned out it works great, and perhaps the USB ext cord I used dropped the current enough so it only cycled red/blue. Hooked directly up to desktop USB it works perfect. I will definately buy more Azio products.

Keyboard works great! Easy to install cause there isn't any softwareto install (nice). Just plug-it-in and it works! I love that you can choose between three colors of lights by the push of a single button. I bought two... an extra one for my son and he loves it too.

Need sleep and wake up buttons. Hard to see small shortcut buttons in blue [My favorite of the colors]. Recommend larger shortcut buttons. More colors would be a nice option. Most important: An option to turn off the LEDs [Automatically] when the computer is shutdown. If as an option some may prefer to keep them on, makes a nice nightlight. My use is for both PC and Linux Ubuntu and for technical business and personal use.

Where my keyboard sits I don't get enough light on it to see all the keys, so this is fantastic. Of course the keys (or paint on them) won't wear off. I've had other illuminated ones but the keys were illuminated not the letter and they were hard on the eyes at night as it was too much glare. Plus they didn't have the extra multimedia keys. I am so in love with this. I have recommended to some friends.

I had an old and worn out keyboard that was hard to see at night. This keyboard has good action and is very easy to see. It simply works great. I love it.

Good for the price and I can see the keys in the dark.

Keys are flat, unless you're an experienced typist, it's easy to hit other keys while typing.

This is a large key USB keyboard with illuminated backlight in your choice of three colors, blue, red or purple. It worked great right out of the box, just plug it into any usb port and it links itself including volume and hotkeys for email and various drop down menus. If it were three times the price they could call it a "gaming" keyboard. Very satisfied with the product and with Geeks.com.
