Comments about Symbol LS2208 USB Handheld Laser Barcode Scanner:
Bought two of these, one for an OpenBravo point-of-sale terminal and another for a laptop to do inventory. Both work perfectly and are easily programmable. One came with a ridiculously long cord, which is a definite plus. Unadjustable volume settings can create an earache, since the default scanner volume is set to "very loud".
