This seems flimsy since it's made of plastic, but I've had netbooks and notebook computers up to 15" on it and it holds them just fine. Even older heavier models. It's nice to be able to swivel the laptop around without moving it and tilt it, too. I'm very happy with it and have ordered one for each of my kids as well as another one for me.
