Geeks hard drives I've always had problems with so figured... forget the 3.5 inch drives. Rather surprised this one shows up as 0 hours old. Which only means two things it's either brand new (unlikely) or it's Recertified. Not Refurbished. Most drives are Refurbs. Recertified drives have their memory wiped on the Smart tests. Speedfan shows this drive as being 90 % fit and 100 % performance (on a 5400 RPM drive) I haven't had a drive in a long time reach 100 % performance. Hope these stay around awhile. Might get another one next month. Was going to use this for storage. Think I'll put this in my spare laptop.
