Comments about Infrared Motion Night Vision Network Color Camera w/Pan & Tilt Control, Microphone:
This was purchased to allow friends and family to check on our pets remotely. Image quality and speed are excellent, and appear to be limited by your network connection. Pan and tilt we found smooth, again depending on network connection speed. Response is improved by slowing down the frame rate to 10 - 15 fps rather than using the default 'full speed'.Microphone and speaker on the unit were an unexpected plus, anyone remote with a microphone on their PC can carry on a converation with someone at the camera (or sing to our pets). However, audio is significantly delayed, and you can get a delayed feedback where you hear the same thing repeated two or three times. While the basic setup documentation is accurate, the more detailed documentation is somewhat cryptic due to the broken english. However, most of it can be puzzled out without too much difficulity by following along in the setup screens. Also, the documentation contains no reference to the manufacturer or how to contact them, I had to come back to geeks.com to find their website. The last limitation is that the ActiveX control supplied does not contain publisher information, which causes IE to refuse to load it unless you decrease the security setting and allow unverified ActiveX controls to be installed. Overall, this is an excellent unit for the price.

unbranded but works

If you can setup ip cams to properly work outside your network then consider this generic item. picture & color quality at 640x480 Res.is vivid & sharp for a more detailed view. No broken english on the configurations menu. Best viewed on a browser (smartphone, tablet& desktops) Works on my smartphones ip camera software using Apexis brand but pan & scan is too slow & not continious. I hope it can endure being mounted outside.
