Works after some work

Small, invisible on my TV, Android 4, functions well with some work. After following poorly written hard copy instructions for installation I got a "mode not supported" on my Samaung DLP. After researching Internet blogs, I used another TV to set resolution to a supported mode (1080i 60Hz), and it started working well. Some TVs will automatically adjust, some won't. Working well now, better than some other boxes because you can download any apps from the app store, not just those already installed on the device. Includes USB port for mouse, keyboard, or wireless keyboard. Streams video well across my wireless-n router, and turned my TV into a huge Android tablet. At this point I am really happy with this purchase. Geeks is one of the best internet vendors out there!

Works, but only just

Intended to use it primarily as a Netflix player. Not sure yet if the reason I'm not impressed is because of the TV dongle or the Netflix player for Android, but I'm definitely underwhelmed by this aspect of the functionality.

Also there are frequent crashes at startup that appear to be caused by the google play / market app. Supposedly this can be remedied by replacing the market app.

Would be more comfortable customizing it if the original firmware was available from manufacturer, but as usual no-one claims responsibility for it's existence.

As with just about everything this cheaply priced, it's about what I expected. Hopefully with a little more work it won't end up collecting dust in my closet before summer arrives.

Couldn't get my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse to work. Using a wired USB mouse. You Tube works pretty good. The Watch ESPN app seems to be too fast for the processor. Screen just can't keep up. Tried all the settings for different resolutions without any success. Even did an update. Still no luck with ESPN.

for a semi-tech person got it to work out of the box, added wireless mouse and additional usb storage with a multi-port-usb adapter, needed a gender changer to work with a HMDI cable or it would have plugged into the rear of the big screen.. first thing get all the updates you're allowed (can't do Android but not a big thing ).. nice toy, good price.

Included directions are written by non-English speaking person and inadequate. I have had trouble with using wireless mouses from beyond a few feet. Had to remove other nearby rf devices. Sometimes works slow as molasses or will seize. Went back to connecting my computer to TV since it worked faster and smoother. Would not recommend.

This stick is great. Added bluetooth, and a bluetooth keyboard and played Angry birds on my 80inch JVC TV, it looked amazing! Great streaming video. Played around with wifi. Was able to find rooting instructions and latest roms online. looking to use for face to face skype calls in near future.

The only thing I dislike is the glowing blue power/wireless light. I have it on a mounted TV in bedroom. I don;t like the "nightlight". But if I shut it down from the Android side, I can't power it back up without unplugging it and plugging it back in or power cycling it. But it works great and lets me watch NetFlix without getting out of bed.

I would recomend this to all my friends! going to buy another one. I have had it for 2 or 3 wks just dont fill it up with junk slows it down. keep it simple. Netflix mail youtube internet no problem, nice addition on my 32" strong n go's though 2 concret walls in this old house.that is why i am ordering another one. no brainer.

Not much to it. Just plug it into a standard HDMI port. I tried my computer monitor and my TV. 1920x1080. Connected it to my home wifi, signed in with my google account and it patched all the apps. For wireless keyboard/mouse combo I used a Logitech K400 Keyboard which has a mouse enabled touchpad -- which worked great from my couch at about 12 feet. I checked my mail, watched some videos on Youtube. Audio is only supported through the HDMI. Still this little toy worked like a champ! No regrets.
