This CPU is really great for someone with an AM2+ board with AM3 compatibility or an AM3 board that is not compatible with AM3+ CPUs and are looking for a cheap, but very capable quad core. I use mine for some gaming and it does quite well, though most of its use is in photo editing, video editing, and various desktop and office applications.
