Hynix is usually the standard memory. And never had problems with it. Samsung sometimes. This Hynix is 1. poorly packed. a SoDimm in an SDRam package. so it was allowed to jingle. The stickers look like someone ran it off on a computer. So almost wonder if it's fake Hynix. Still it's cheap and it works as intended. Was just looking for cheap ram to stick in my backup laptop I got here in 2011. Other than the black hole award. (It's in a big box) well wrapped and totally pointless since it was in the wrong container.
