Not exactly as expected

Ordered this as part of a home security system build. The specs say that it has a range of 90 ft in darkness, but I'd say it's half that at 45ft. Still not bad for 30 or so led's. Daytime pic is ok colors are not true trees in image didn't appear green. Resolution is ok for price but not quite up to what I had hoped for. Camera looks good compact size makes it easy to find a spot to mount it. On that subject the mounting is limited by the design of the bracket to a wall type installation. You can not mount to ceiling or underside of an eve on your house. There is no way to relocate bracket on camera at all. The package came with all to use this camera or so I thought. The long video cable is junk in my opinion. Here is why, when using it I get hash in my video signal to my video server also if connected to my tv input same issue. The short 4ft cord that comes with it has a clean signal. So I have to think that the thin cable is just not up to passing video for that distance. Not a big deal but was hoping to use it I will make up my own cable out of RG6 tv coax as this is what I have done for other cameras in my system on long runs and have had no signal issues. I suppose if your not fussy about video quality it might be ok tho may cause issues with motion detection settings. Would I recommend it probably not due to the cable issue and limited mounting options of the bracket.
