Comments about Generic M109S 1.2GHz 1GB 4GB 10.1'' Capacitive Touchscreen Tablet Android 4.1 w/Dual Cameras, Mini HDMI & microSDHC Slot (Black):
Bought this for my mother as her first tablet. And it has been a joy for her to use. She knew nothing of tablets or Android but was abile to figure out everything she needed. She uses it for e-books and some online games. Very pleased. However the lack of a manual is a big discouraging so be prepared to provide lots of support. Anyone that has used a modern smartphone wont have any trouble.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

just as good as the name brands, maybe not as many bells and whistles. It does what I want or need it to do. Takes great pictures from both cameras.
ood tablet for everything ebut internet
The tablet performs most functions very well. The two cameras are very good. But while the tablet is very resonsive to playing videos and games and has great HDMI output, it is awful for web browsing. It has the slowest internet interface on any tablet I have used. Whether you use the Chrome bwowser or another, it is almost a bad joke. So that renders voice recognition and, thus, Google Now, virtually useless. Those functions are there but so slow that they might as well not be.I have several 7" no-name tablets purchased for $70 to $85 and all of them outperform this tablet for internet speed and voice recognition. So, for everything but internet use, it is a very good tablet. Browsing though is slow.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
