My previous computer was ruined by a power surge that also blew out an electrical outlet. I removed the hard drive and hoped I could still use it. I ordered the case and installed the drive after I received it. It took less than 10 minutes. The drive slides right into the SATA connectors easily. Four supplied screws to secure the bottom of the drive to the frame. Frame and drive slides into the case. Both ends secured with the tiny four screws. Plugged inn the usb connector and power supply. Turned it on and I now have a backup drive. This was a good deal.
