This Zotac board is exactly what i was wanting to squeeze more life out of my old i3 540 processor. the board has a descent layout, medium functionality, and great I/O connectivity for any HTPC, (which is what im using it for) or desktop web surfer, or workstation non mission critical uses. The bios is simple, although you can overclock, ie. raise the FSB, change the multiplier, and DDR speeds, 667,800,1066,1333,1600. an aftermarket heatsink for this would be problematic if you're trying for a big tower style cooler. although some of the smaller 92mm fans, even some slim 120mm designs would work well. 2 4pin pwm fan headers, along side the h55 chipset works great for HD media and blue ray disk playback with just the intel ondie graphics. zotac did a good job while keeping the price envelope down to provide a cost effective multi purpose board for the end of life 1156 socket.
