I wanted a small player I could listen to mp3 media with, but when I saw it had an FM tuner as well it had everything I needed. It is plenty loud for personal use. Its a great mobile device that is small enough you can put it nearly anywhere and have fairly rich fidelity, plus listen to your fav local station when you want.
